Overview:
ACL Women's Prevention:
Performance Tracking App for Female Football Players
Project Overview
This mobile interface was designed for the women’s football team at Politechnika Wrocławska to help athletes monitor their physical activity, training load, and recovery cycles. The goal was to create a clear, accessible system that allows players to track their daily performance and receive personalized exercise recommendations based on their fatigue levels and past training data.
Design Approach
The UI follows a structured, data-driven layout with a strong focus on clarity and minimal cognitive load. Soft rounded components, a friendly color palette, and clear iconography ensure the app feels approachable while still communicating reliability and professionalism — crucial for sports-related applications.
Key Features Designed
Activity Calendar: A central calendar view displaying daily metrics, completed training sessions, and recovery indicators.
Over-Training Alerts: Smart notifications that warn players when their activity level exceeds a healthy threshold.
Daily Summary Panels: Quick-view cards summarizing sleep quality, steps, workouts, and general physical condition.
Profile & Metrics: Editable personal data such as weight, height, activity level, injury history, and notification preferences.
Onboarding Flow: Registration and login screens designed for easy input and smooth first-time user experience.
Bottom Navigation System: A clean 4-icon navigation bar optimized for quick access to sleep tracking, training, workouts, and profile screens.
What I Focused On
Establishing visual consistency across all screens
Building a modular component system applicable to future app extensions
Ensuring all metrics are easy to interpret at a glance for non-technical users
Designing UI that supports real athletic use cases like training load balancing and injury prevention
Creating a layout that can be later integrated with real activity-tracking hardware or apps
Outcome
The final design delivers an intuitive and supportive experience for female athletes, enabling them to monitor performance, avoid over-training, and follow personalized exercise plans. The interface is structured, functional, and ready for integration into a fully developed sports-tracking platform.
