Overview:
Gauriveda Yoga UX / Web Design
Project Goal & Challenges
Gauriveda wanted a website that:
Serves Polish-speaking yoga practitioners living in Switzerland — making them feel at home and understood.
Clearly communicates who the instructor is, the philosophy behind the classes, schedule, and how to join (reservations via Cal.com).
Offers an inviting, calm, and accessible user experience — since visitors include beginners, people from Poland, and those new to yoga.
Works well across languages, is easy to navigate, and builds trust for first-time visitors.
Key challenges included: bridging language/cultural expectations, providing enough information without clutter, and making booking simple and straightforward.
Design & UX Solutions
• Clear Identity & Tone
The homepage clearly states: “Polish Yoga Classes in Switzerland” — immediately situating visiting users.
The “About Instructor” section introduces Dominika (the teacher), her background and qualifications — building trust and personal connection.
Choice of calm images (e.g., a serene yoga pose) communicates peace, mindfulness, and the mood of yoga practice.
• Information Architecture & Content Flow
The site uses a simple one-page layout divided into coherent sections: About → Practice philosophy → Studio → Contact → Booking.
Important info (studio address, class schedule, session length, price) is presented clearly and repeatedly.
Design Goals Achieved
Easy to scan and understand — within seconds a visitor knows what this studio is, who it serves, and how to join.
Warm and personal feeling — the use of personal story, images, and Polish language builds trust and belonging.
Conversion-oriented — prominent booking button & contact options likely increase conversion from visitor to booked student.
Accessible and inclusive — design accommodates newcomers and non-technical users (Polish expats, busy people, mobile users).
