Overview:
Wroamie
Event Discovery App (University Project)
Project Overview
Wroamie is a mobile app concept I designed as part of a university project, created to help students easily discover upcoming events, festivals, and activities in their city. The goal was to build a modern, intuitive platform that highlights local happenings while making navigation effortless for young users.
Design Approach
The visual direction is energetic and bold, using a vibrant red palette to reflect excitement, nightlife, and student culture. I focused on creating a layout that feels dynamic yet clean—large event cards, strong typography hierarchy, and immersive imagery to instantly draw attention.
The UI is built around fast discovery: a home feed with categories, trending events, and instant actions like “Join Now” or “Invite.” The interface is designed to minimize friction and encourage users to explore more.
User Experience Highlights
Clear event structure showing date, location, attendance status, and description.
One-tap actions for joining, sharing, or saving events.
Category filters (Music, Culture, Nightlife, etc.) for personalized discovery.
Map integration to quickly see event locations.
Profile and favourites flows to create a sense of continuity and belonging.
My Role
I was responsible for the full product design cycle—research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI. The final result is a polished mobile concept that redesigns how students interact with their city, helping them stay connected, engaged, and informed.
